This is the portal for current and prospective students interested in not merely learning, but discovering and mastering the wonders of the world through the natural and medical sciences!

After a decade of working as a surgeon I decided to dedicate myself to the singular goal of preventing the suffering caused by lifestyle-related chronic disease.  I do this by dedicating myself to my two professional passions: lifestyle medicine health coaching and high-quality, personalized teaching.

Over the years I have had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of students, from gifted and highly motivated high school students to professionals keen on honing their knowledge and skills and lifelong learners.

I enjoy working with a wide range of students, including:

  • Post-graduate: Experienced doctors, pharmacists, and surgical residents.
  • Graduate Students: Healthcare students (MD, DO, DPT, DPM, ND, PA, NP, OT, RN) including Harvard medical students.
  • Undergraduate Students: Students enrolled in pre-health programs (pre-med, pre-nursing, and pre-dental).
  • Gifted High School Students: Highly-motivated students passionate about STEM and medical sciences and eager to establish robust foundations.
  • Life-long Learners: Adults with a growth mindset and an insatiable intellectual curiosity including company founders, venture capitalists, presidents, CEO's and other C-suite executives, high-performing NFL Hall of Fame athletes, and everyday active retirees.

Given that I split my time between my two passions of health coaching and teaching, I only work (one-on-one or with very small groups) with a very small and select number of highly-motivated students each semester (year-round, including summers). This small teacher-student ratio allows me to get to know each one of my students, develop a unique rapport, usually leading to months or years of fruitful and rewarding collaboration and great academic and intellectual accomplishments.
